I currently fork out to Telus aprox $25. Then to Win-Tel for $21. But for Win-Tel it's well worth it as they offer me unlimited long distance in Canada for that price. I need a cell phone, it's far more practical for my work. However I was thinking of getting a family plan (because of the 2 phone deal). One phone I would be using more often than not and the other would probably only need two hours or something. However, I was hoping there would be a plan where I could share minutes between the phones. (just in case factor). Fido has some pretty good deals however they don't offer the fantastic long distance. And Win-Tel with long distance on top of a 2phone plan just gets pricey... What to do? If you guys have any suggestions, I would really appreciate it. Oh and as far as land lines go and internet, if you guys have any suggestions for who gives better services for the better buck let me know? |

I went out to White Spot and ordered the Monty Mushroom Eggs Benni. (which by the way was absolutely awesome). A friend of mine ordered the Monty Mushroom Hamburger and when it arrived it looked great...? My friend takes a bite and then he says, "I don't think they put mushrooms in here... And he takes a look. There must have been a chincey 6mushrooms. Then he stops and takes a closer look at his burger. He shows me where he took a bite an asks, "Does that looked cooked to you?" Then I realized he was being sarcastic because the outside of the burger was nicely browned/black, the inside was this terrible pink. So we flagged down the nearest waitress and requested the manager. So Schmucky-Mc-Schmuckster walks over, he's about 25, skinny like snappy the stick and let's just say after seeing him I never want to eat there again. The guy looked as though he was seriously about to murder someone. Like Norman Bates just before the shower scene. On top of this he wasn't washed and had some serious greasy hair. *blehk* *cough* *hack* *spit* *cough* He looked so insulted when we told him that there were few too many mushrooms and the burger wasn't cooked. And might I add that considering my friend and myself have both previously worked in the food industry can appreciate when they are busy on days like this one so it's not like my friend was giving this guy the third degree. He was just telling him and all I could think was "wow, this guy probably has a giant menu stuck up his..." Anyways, Schmucky-Mc-Schmuckster took the plate and then came back in about 10min with the other one. I hate to be a complete complainer but this one was just exceptionally over done. He decided not say anything, but the fries weren't yellow, they were a deep golden grease color, and the burger really was black and the special sauce was just smothered on. So he just ate the meat on one side of the bun with a tomato and I shared my eggs benni with him. Did I mention that their hot chocolate machine was either broken or someone switched the chocolate dispenser to "low"? It was ultimately annoying. I felt bad for the waitress though, she was really nice and even remade the hot chocolate's for us with no problem. Even though once again they sucked. So we had coffee instead. But anyways, I'm terribly disappointed in White Spot. Looks like I'm off to either find another location or just stick to sushi-lunches from now on... |
![]() I don't know how... I don't know if it's possible... That is until today... I believe I woke up on the right side of the bed... How? You may ask... When one has a new shiny and exceptionally pretty coffee/espresso maker that has a timer set for 7:45am... Anything is possible... *grins* And then because of the snow and ice I decided to walk rather than drive down to the shoppers to mail a few things and also grab a sweetie. The bakery had just finished setting out "chocolate fudge caramel brownies" and may I add just how amazing they were. And for the first time in a while I actually bought some safari cartoon stickers from the loony store... Perhaps I'm coming down with something? *feels forehead* It's got to be the coffee. I hear an especially good cup can work wonders for the addict... On a side note I was discussing with a friend who's thinking of changing her name, if we were to change our names arbitrarily *not necessarily to something serious, but just for fun* what would it be? I told her I was quite fond of the name "Gustavus Vasa" and she gave me a dirty look so a bit more seriously I told her, "Daphne Hollingbush". She on the other hand chose "Naomi Leighton". I told her that perhaps she should consider the name, Gertrude and that I would call her Gertie for short. Or maybe Winifred. I was once again met with another dirty look. *hah* Anyways... If you could change your name for fun or otherwise... what would it be? (and please no 'Princess Consuela Banana Hammock') |

What I have is nothing to my name No property to speak of And no trophy for my game Intangible and worthless My assets on the page My coffers are empty Any offer of safety has faded away But what I have is On an ordinary day The extraordinary way You take what I can give and you treasure it You turn to me and say, I believe in this And that makes me lucky God, I'm lucky, so much luckier than I ever thought I'd be 'Because what I have Means so very little to this world A promise that I kept and a bridge that I saved before it burned The sacrifice that I made Brought me to my knees A choice that cost me everything and set somebody else free But what I still have Is the value that you see in these things And every time I forget those things you bring them right back to me With your patience When I'm blinding mad And your passion When I'm really, really bad And your eyes Taking in everything I am And your body and soul and the way that you know how I treasure you On an ordinary day The extraordinary way You take what I can give and you treasure it On an ordinary day The extraordinary way You turn to me and say, I believe in this |
