Right now I am at Rob's at a LAN! Wo0t! I love LANs! For those of you who don't know, a LAN is a getogether of a bunch of people that play multiplayer comp games for a couple of days. Much shooting ensues. I haven't actually mulitplayered yet, the network is a lil off, but I have been playing muchness of Quake III Arena on my own, and I have discovered that I am getting to be quite 1337 (geek for leet/elite) at it. Now all I have to do is hope that I am as good in an actual comp! I saw the physio on Tuesday and I am seeing her again next week. My shoulder is pretty much just in decay coz of the lack of use and basically I have to build the muscles up again. It's been pretty gpood actually, she taped it, so I don't have to wear a sling and can still use my arm. I've been working heaps this week too, so I'll haev a lil $ in my pocket. Hopefully I'll manage to save some though. I want to go for my Leaner's soon (about time i'm freaking 19!) and will need $ for that. Well this kb (it's not my comp) is shitting me no end so I'll see ya later! Miranda |

Hey all, I'm sick again. Another rotten lousy cold that makes me feel less than impressive. I've got the lovely rattly coffee percolator cough too. I've worked bugger all this week that means. Fortunately it was a reasonable check last week and the week before and (touch wood) I don't seem to be spending much so theoretically I won't be too broke soon soon. (touches wood again) I've abandoned my old site and my new URL (which I will update in my profile at some stage) is www.geocities.com/ascendedgroupie Fuuuuuuck! Hiccups... they make my everything hurt. I dunno why but oohhh... anti-cool. I'm gonna go to the doctors tonight I guess, and get a certificate. Grr stupid centrelink bullshit obligations. Seeing as I haven't been well enough to scrape any hours (well 4.5 yesterday) so far this week I'll need a cert so that I can claim Centrelink and not be totally broke. Specially seeing as most of what I've got will have to go to mum for rent. Kinda ironic really. I don't ACTUALLY live there. I don't live here (At Fungus's) either mind you, I just do a bit of both... mum's is my technical mailing addy, just that I sleep at Fungus's almost every single night. I also tried to fix Fungus's computer today. Seemed to work pretty well. I just virus scanned and anti-spywared it, and it's been running like a charm. Hopefully I didn't screw anything up! Although how I could I dunno. The computer was rebooting of its own accord every 5 minutes, and that is if it wasn't freezing! Only problem being I could only get a virus scan he doesn't like, I personally like AVG, but I'm pretty sure Ryan doesn't. Well, his computer works better now so he can bloody well live with it! Heheheh. What else? Nothing new really. My grandmother was sick last week, and I was pretty worried, but I think she's fine now. I really hope so. I'd like her to be around long enough to see me get married and have her great-grandchildren. She just turned 70, which I guess is knid of old, but she's pretty healthy I think and looks after herself well, better than I do lol! Hey I just realised I haven't mentioned Nathan in my blog today yet! He rang today. Pity I'd taken a sickie off work, otherwise I would've been able to hang out with him for a while. He has a long break (ie 3-4hours) between classes at Uni sometimes, and he kills them in the city. Thus when they coincide so neatly with my lunch break, it will be muchness of fun, harrassing and butt sex... well maybe not the sex.... I've spent all day on the computer and I'm now waiting for the last 1/2 hour - 45mins till Ryan is home. Then at some point he'll tkae me to the doctors. Julia (his mum) says that it soudns like I need antibiotics. I don't think its that bad, but as I bitched earlier, I do need a certificate. I'm also working on shrinking down the sizes of all of my pics so that I can post them on the site. So far all the pics I have tho are of my PJ's Either way... it's amusing. Tata for now! |

So, I lost my job on Wednesday. I was working in a telemarketing joint in the city for those of you who didn't know. Turns out I wasn't getting enough sales. Everyone I rang was ineligible for the stuff I was selling in some way. Mostly because AGL (The Australian Gas Light Company) had already sold it to them before giving me the freaking data sheets! Chris was very nice about it though, and I can't blame him... I blame Roy. Roy's the shortass manager who doesn't speak English properly and is scared of anyone taller than him (ie: me!) and gets really defensive the minute anyone appraoches him. So... it's back to the jobsearch for me. I hate jobsearching and the crap Centrelink puts you through. I should be grateful for the $, but the rest of the paperwork and beaurocracy that comes with it, ain't worth it in my eyes. There's not much else going on really. Ryan and my bro are still working on Ryan's car trying to get it to function, they have been doing so since about 10 am! It's now nearly 4. Mum's birthday is on Monday and I bought her a DVD of the party starring Peter Sellers. It's one of her favourite movies, and the boys like it too, which means that she can watch it without too much opposition. I'm all itchy on my feet... I get excema still. It's from not resting properly when my body is tired out. The worst place though is on top of my ears where my glasses rub on it, and constantly irritate it, so even when I am sleeping well, it's always there, becasue if it is rubbed and irritated, the rash stays there longer. I am trying to deal without the glasses for a bit, so thatt he rash can heal, and being without a job makes it easier too. Well this is another longish entry about nothing really, so I'm gonna sign off for a while. Ta ta for now. |

Seeing as I didn't mention him in my last blog (unlike most others) this is a special HI and YOU ROCK to my gorgeous Nathan, master of the horrifying cliches and king of tickling Miranda to death. Love ya dude, but I'm not in love with ya. Tee hee hee... J, one of my friends said to me about Nathan "He's so in love with you" LOL! That's just silly Nathan has a GORGEOUS girlfriend Meg, who lives in Townsville and he adores his "prettyful lady." Well this blog has served it's purpose, feeling special now Nathan? Miranda |

I had a GREAT time on Monday, took the time to catch up with Jamie, one of my friends who I haven't seen in months. We went into the city and he bought me lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe, and just generally chatted away. The reason I haven't seen Jamie in so long is because basically of Chris. He got waaay over protective of me, and because he didn't like/trust Jamie and was uncertain about me having some feelings for him, banned me from talking to or seeing Jamie period. Although I resented it, I agreed and things were peaceful... which I went and fucked up by seeing Jamie behind Chris's back. Now, I know what you're thinking. No there was nothing other than friendship there. I DID have a huge crush on Jamie at one point, and will even go so far as to say that I was in love with him, but I never cheated on Chris, nor did I actually act on those feelings and go on a 'date' with Jamie. It was just mates meeting up and having a coffee, very much like I do with Nathan (see I mentioned him again) or Dylan. Anyway, toward the end of Chris's and my relationship Chris found out I was talking to Jamie again and cracked the shits. I repaired things, but broke it off not long after when Chris was getting overprotective about me seeing one of our old housemates who he knows I have NO feelings for other than as a good mate. Then, I meet up with Ryan, who says that I can email/phone/see Jamie if I want, the only 'condition' of sorts being that he wants to meet him. Not much of a condition really. I want to meet his friends that he's always chatting to. So, after a few emails Jamie and I agreed to catch up. I was basically delighted to find that everything was blissfully normal between us, and that there wasn't any strange moments where we realised there could be more. A couple of warm hugs yes, but that's it! And hugs are nothing Nathan (that's twice in this entry now!) Dylan, Nickers, Spunky Bum and Bonk all get them too! Well, my few readers tend to complain when I am too wordy in my blogs so I'd best be skedaddling. Miranda |
