    <description>After a lot of googling, bugging lots of people at irc and some quiet pondering, I've come to the conclusion that a good bet would be to install the lightweight firewall &quot;ZoneAlarm&quot;. I'm not sure how much better  (if any) it is than Windows own builtin FW. 	<title>The beginning...</title>

    <description>I have this crazy idea that I'm going to learn programming, but as I'm also quite interested in learning about computer security, I want the rest of my system to be reasonably secure first (Both from dataloss due to crashed hardware etc. and from malicious hackers that may find their way to my own little corner of the web).
