I hate having people over to my house because I'm afraid they'll judge me and say "she's a rich little brat!" Moth had already seemed to think I was pretty wealthy but just yesterday she noticed that I have a pool. =( She was like "HOLY CRAP!!" I really think she judges me the most out of all my friends. I got a really nice camera for Christmas (note-I did not ask for a particularly nice one, just one that gets the job done). Moth had recieved one shortly before for her birthday so she assumed that I just wanted one because she had one...which is not true at all! =( She wrote a big long entry for me to see saying how I had "stolen her hobby"...(that hurt for me to see, it really did!) She's never going to see this entry by the way, because my friends don't know about my emo blog. That entry she wrote was what made me realize that people judge me money-wise. I have been more paranoid about it ever since... This sucks a lot. I never asked for a pool, we just have one. I never asked for a big house or an extremely nice camera, that's just the way things turned out. I wish people could realize this and just think of me like they do everybody else. And Moth isn't the only one who I feel judged by, she's just the one who seems to judge me the most.
This weekend has been reallyyyy fun! Yesterday I went to the mall with Shelley, Brian, Briana, Caroline, Moth, & Tier and we shopped around for about 4 hours. Then everyone but Caroline came and chilled at my house for a while & Shelley and Briana stayed over. Other than the little bit of drama yesterday everything was cool. It kind of seems like my friends have a little trouble getting along...& I think Brian's the main source of the conflict =/ ... I thought he seemed nice yesterday but he was somehow pissing Shelley off... idk. Brian, Shelley, & Moth have been confusing me lately. I'm just glad I've been getting along with everybody. I'm happy I got to hang out with all my friends. This weekend has made me feel like I belong somewhere! I actually have a circle of friends! =D
Today was pretty good! We had our A/B honor roll pizza lunch today and I forgot about it & brought an extra lunch...hahahaha I ate it too =) I had tonsssss of fun in gym even though I got all sweaty & yucky...Art was good & technology was reallyyyyy good because that rude little kid Mehai wasn't there! =D Yesss! I'm soo glad it's sunny...it puts me in an awesome mood! Wellllll I'll catch you guys later & add more later if anything interesting happens...Bye!

Apparently, some of you guys reading this might not know the deal. In my city, there is this lottery thing that determines what high school you go to. They set each of our city's three high schools with certain magnet programs: art, language, & technology. They gave us a form to fill out, where we chose our first, second, and third choices. (pretty dumb, considering there are only three schools to choose from) I wanted to go to the art school since I'm planning on going into either web design, graphic design, or both. Buttttttttttt, over half the rising 9th graders picked the art school as their first choice so very few got in... And I was one of those who didn't. =( It's pretty nuts that they did this whole thing...a lot of people picked the art school because their friends are going there or b/c they're "AFRAID OF GETTING SHOT" at the other schools...[STUCK UP RACIST PRICKS ] AHHH it annoys me BEYOND WORDS that people who don't care AT ALL about art got into the art school... This school "choice" plan is the most unfair thing I've experienced in my whole life!
The reasons why they started this whole "choice" plan are RETARDED. They want the schools to be "socioeconomically diverse" which means they want the poor people mixed in with the rich....I don't think poor people like being around rich people and I don't think rich people like being with the poor... Sooo if people are scrambled up and feeling out of place then they definitely aren't going to do as well in school. This plan is going to cost a motherload of money for all the busing... Kids who used to be able to walk to school are now going to have to spend at least 45 minutes on a bus. It's crazy. They should be using this money to help out the kids and not to ship them around on a bus every day! I wonder how long it will take the school board to realize they made a fricken mistake..."
