We have recently implemented some new anti-spam security measures which we hope are not too much of an inconvenience. We are utilizing the services of ReCaptcha to help thwart spam. This new system has been implemented on the registration process, comment process and the creating a blog process. Along with that we have removed the probationary link section, instead of no post being added the administrators are alerted and can then choose what they want to do. We hope that with the new reCaptcha system in place that the toll of filtering spammers out is far less.
