We have decieded to utilize Trillian Smilies for our standard smiles list. We plan on adding these same smiles to the Aeonity Chat Box for a cooler interactive emoticon experience. Find these Trillian Emoticons in your Create A Entry UserCP. |

Chatbox Notice Flaming - (adjective) angry, obnoxious, or insulting text online To flame - (verb) To send angry, obnoxious, or insulting messages, usually repeatedly, in chat rooms, on forums, over instant messaging services (like AOL Instant Messenger), or in e-mail. There have been a few instances of users flaming other users. Frankly it is annoying. People are flaming for no reason. IF ANYONE FLAMES YOU, LEAVES A BAD COMMENT ABOUT YOU, OR ANYTHING, REPORT IT VIA CONTACT FORM! We will handle it. Do not get yourself banned over it. We had to ban a few users from the chatbox for a few days because of flames. We do not care who you are, DO NOT FLAME. If this continues we will remove the chatbox once again. If it continues further we will moderate comments which we would HATE to do but will if it comes down to it. We are on a zero tolerance basis. If we see any more instances of flames we will ban immediately for a week. Second instance is being permanently banned. Please be nice, is that so hard to do? If it is, you WILL ruin it for everyone else so please do not do this. We will not name names here, those people know who they are. We will go through the chatbox logs every night now. If we see anything we think is a flame, good bye to those privileges. We hope you get the point. DO NOT BE RUDE TO OTHER PEOPLE. If we see two people being rude to each other, guess what? You both are banned. BE NICE & COMMUNICATE LIKE A COMMUNITY |

Hello All, Once again we need feedback. Due to recent events we are thinking of dissallowing all javacsript in posts. This does not mean your blog template. This is because of spammers and their re-directs. We will be willing to compromise with something like: [script][/script] If you do need Javascript present in your blog. This way spammers will not know about this. We are wondering what your thoughts are. I just did a search and of all the blogs on Aeonity only 10 blogs were found with Javascript in them. This is why we are willing to compromise. Let us know! --Aeonity Team |
