2. Manual Remove

Open Regedit and delete these two entries.

Windows XP / Vista 32bit

  1. Go to start
  2. Run
  3. Enter this: regsvr32 /u "%CommonProgramFiles%AdobeAdobe Drive CS4ADFSMenu.dll"

Windows 64bit

  1. Go to start
  2. Run
  3. Enter this: regsvr32 /u "%CommonProgramFiles(x86)%AdobeAdobe Drive CS4ADFSMenu.dll"

david Two Blind Airline Pilots Joke Dec 15th, 2008 2:47:20 pm - Subscribe
My co-worker Louise sent me this joke, I thought it was funny enough to post here.

Two blind airline pilots were both wearing dark glasses. One is using a guide-dog and the other is tapping his way along the aisle with a cane. Nervous laughter spreads through the cabin, but the men enter the cockpit, the door closes and the engines start up.

The passengers begin glancing nervously around, searching for some sign that this is just a little practical joke. None is forthcoming. The plane moves faster and faster down the runway and the people sitting in the window seats realize they're headed straight for the water at the edge of the airport.

As it begins to look as though the plane will plough into the water, panicked screams fill the cabin. At that moment, the plane lifts smoothly into the air. The passengers relax and laugh a little sheepishly and soon all retreat into their magazines, secure in the knowledge that the plane is in good hands.

In the cockpit, one of the blind pilots turns to the other and says, "Ya know, Bob,one of these days, they're gonna scream too late and we're all gonna die."

david How to Create an Image Watermark in Word 2007 Dec 9th, 2008 6:29:43 pm - Subscribe
This Entry explains how to create a image watermark in word 2007.

First off you will need a copy of Microsoft Office 2007. Once obtained go to Microsoft Word 2007 from there follow the following steps below.

  • Choose Page Layout -> Page Background -> Watermark. From the panel, you can choose one of Word's built-in watermarks (such as "Urgent" or "Confidential"), or choose the Custom Watermark item, and then work in the Printed Watermark dialog box.
  • Click the Select Picture button in the Printed Watermark dialog box. Word displays the Insert Picture dialog box
  • Navigate to the folder that contains the picture, select the picture, and then click the Insert button. Word closes the Insert Picture dialog box and adds the picture's name to the Printed Watermark dialog box
  • In the Scale drop-down list, select Auto if you want Word to scale the picture automatically to what Word considers a suitable size. Otherwise, select the scaling percentage you want: 50%, 100%, 150%, 200%, 500%, or a custom percentage that you type into the Scale box
  • Select the Washout check box if you want Word to wash the picture out to give a more subtle effect. If the picture is already subtle enough, clear this check box
  • Click the Apply button. Word applies the watermark to the document so you can see how it looks. Make any adjustments needed. For example, you may need to choose a different value in the Scale drop-down list
  • Click the OK button. Word closes the Printed Watermark dialog box and inserts the picture

    Many thanks to Anna Perez.

david Computer Automatically Reboots by Itself Dec 8th, 2008 3:07:13 pm - Subscribe
One of my coworkers in our Houston office is experiencing issues with a Computer that Automatically Restarts. Here is my solution.

    Computer Automatically Reboots by Itself
  • Right click on My Computer and select properties.
  • Click Advanced tab.
  • Click Settings under Startup and Recovery.
  • Under System Failure uncheck Automatically Restart.
  • Click OK.

This will not solve your problem, but will instead give you a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death). At which point Windows will give you a vague error, at which point we can trace your problem. If you still get the system rebooting and there is no BSOD then it's likely that your processor is overheating or your PSU is faulty. Try checking the system health in the BIOS for the processor or system temperature. You'd like it to be less than 50d Celcius, anything over 75d is running dangerous.

Situations like these can be very hard to find the issue. It could be a bad power supply, bad ram, power cord, motherboard, loose screws, or incompatible software.

My recommendation is to backup and start over, or go back. This will save time and $.

If all else fails we can do this, another PC will be need to create this linux CD.
