You're Tearing This Family Apart

So much for my fortune coming true. It only took two days to prove that stupid little paper wrong. It said that there will be happiness and peace in my family, that everything will work out well, but two days, two! was all it took for my peace of mind to be flushed down the drain. You already have one daughter that hates having you as a father, do you want your son to feel the same way also? You always complain about how, even at an old age, you can't depend on us to support you and how all we care about is ourselves and we never help you with anything. How are we suppose to when everytime we give you our opinion, you shoot it down faster than a lightning bolt?? Anything you disagree with, even just a little bit, you think is wrong and yell at us for not seeing things your way. Even if your way is wrong. You never admit to your mistakes but if we even as much as say anything out of line, all hell breaks loose. It's unbelievable the double standards you have for us. And then after all the yelling and criticizing, you expect us to forget all the hurtful words and act as if nothing happened. And if we don't, the whole cycle starts all over again. It's just unbelievable. I thought families are suppose to help you get through your difficult times, not add to it. As if life isn't harsh enough, the people closest to you are never supportive of anything you do or decide on.
