Hope sucks. It's the promise made by a glossed over collection of past experiences that tells us what might result from a certain course of action. It also gives us a sense of proximity to what we really want, it gives us a taste of attaining our goals to keep us motivated. Still, it sucks. But that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.
