India rice consign curbs to recommendation competitors

India’s decision to curb the rice export due to lower acreage driven by weak monsoon have helped other competitors such as Vietnam and Thailand, in marking record exports this year with bumper crop.
An expected fall in rice production due to prevalent drought has pushed India out of the rice export market. Meanwhile, the rice prices in the international market are expected to dip as the higher stockpiles that have been accumulated in Vietnam and Thailand would bring down the prices.
Following a government program to support domestic prices and keep farmers in the business, Thailand -the biggest rice exporter in the world - has accumulated record stocks of about 7 million tons of milled rice this year.
But the absence of key rice exporters India in overseas markets will help Thailand find enough demand for its produce and avoid a supply glut. Despite a record harvest of 99.15 million tons last year, India has banned the export of rice, except in the case of premium varieties such as Basmati rice costing $900/ton and above.
“We will exceed our previous export target for this year of 5 million tons, on increasing demand from Africa, Malaysia and the Philippines,” Huynh said. “Indonesia has been slow so far, as they have good stocks but there are expectations they may come back to the market later this year.”

The cashew tree produces cashew nuts, which is native to the northeast coast of Brazil. The tree bears a pear-shaped "false" fruit, known in Brazil as Caju, meaning "the fruit". It is also called the cashew apple, and is typically yellow or red.
The Caju grows just behind what appears to be the fruit of the cashew and is a swollen peduncle that yields the cashew nut. The actual cashew nut is a kidney-shaped drupe that grows at the end of the cashew fruit.
Inside the nut kernel you will find a layer of thick liquid between the shell and nut. This oil is known as carols and is toxic if eaten. Therefore, cashew nuts must be cleaned and roasted or boiled to remove the toxins and in order to make it safe and edible.
Although cashew nuts may have originated from Brazil, the Portuguese spread this plant and it is now cultivated in areas with a warm and humid climate. In 2005, the top raw cashew producing country was Vietnam, followed by India, Brazil and Nigeria.
Cashew nuts exporters India are commonly used in Asian cuisine and although mainly eaten in their full, nut form, may still be crushed to form butter similar to peanut butter.
100g of dry, roasted nuts without any added salt will give the body 574 calories, a fat content of 46 grams, 33 grams of carbohydrates, and 15 grams of protein and about 16 milligrams of sodium.
Like all nuts, cashew nuts are an excellent source of fiber and protein. They contain potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, selenium, copper and B vitamins.
Due to their high fat content, it is advisable to not consume more than two to three servings of cashew nuts per week.

Important information about iron ore

Iron is a common metal found in the earth's crust, where it occurs in combination with other elements. The term "iron ore" is used when the rock is sufficiently rich in iron minerals to be mined economically. Iron ore yields metallic iron (Fe) when heated in the presence of a reducing agent such as coke. Iron ore usually consists of iron oxides and carbonates.
Its most important mineral forms are magnetite (Fe3O4, 72.4% Fe), hematite (Fe2O3, 69.9% Fe) and siderite (FeCO3, 48.29% Fe). In Brazil, some ore that contains practically no other minerals can grade as high as 68% Fe, but the crude ore mined in Canada grades between 30 and 44% Fe. Therefore, these mines crush and grind the ore, then use gravitational and magnetic concentration methods to produce concentrates with an iron content of about 65%. Depending on grain size, the concentrate is then shipped as is, or agglomerated into balls about a centimeter in diameter and fired to produce hard iron ore pellets. Steel companies take the pellets and coke made from COAL and loads them into blast furnaces, where the minerals are reduced to metallic iron. Unpelletized concentrate received at steel plants is sintered before being charged to the blast furnace.
