don't say you're sorry.
you're not sorry.
people are always "apologizing."
it's the new rage in avoidance.

"i'm sorry i didn't get back to you..."
and, "sorry i've been too busy to..."

yeah.
whatever.

thing is,
you're not sorry.
you just can't think of anything real to say
like,
"i'd respond, but i'm trying to keep you
out of my head, because
i know if i let you in...."
or,
"i hate it that i like you even a little bit,
so i'm withdrawing myself from your
overbearing black sunshine."

but no.
it's always just
"i'm sorry i didn't ---"

yeah.
whatever.

complicators,
you apologizers.
