What an Awesome Day

Well here it is day 6 here in the beautiful resort, Camp Virginia. Today the day kicked off with a call from Kris befoer she went to sleep. What a way to wake up. The last couple of day we have been able to get some time together ove the phone. It's been kinda tought cbecasue the signal out here really sucks.

I ended up getting a card in the mail from here to day which even brighten my day even more. I have to admit, not hearing from her or her and I not being able to contact each other makes for a lonely day .

Things here at Virginia are goin right along. The days are hot, still hittiing 140 out here. I am finding that I am stayin gup till around 4:00am- 5:00am now. I have to admit I really enjoy the night. I am sure gonna have fun reajusting when I get back to Airfjan.

I met a soldier from Polland who had been here for about 4 days. His unit left this morning heading up north. We spent a lot of time talking with each other. I hope all goes well for him and that he gets home soon to his wife and children.

Well that's about it for now. I have to go and upload the updates to the web site. Until then... Have a good one!!

Another Day

Well it's been a couple of days since I have written anything. I fianlly nade it to Camp Virginia on Thursday afternoon. I can say It is a lot more calmer here than Airfjan. Things have been goin. The heat out here is incredable. I was told it gets upto 140 degres. Pretty hot.

The last couple of days Kris and I have been struggling to get a hold of eachother. She has been very busy with things at the house and other outside activities. She hasn't been able to e-mail as much becuase of everything that has been goin on. Not to metion she is still limited to getting online.

We have talked to each other a couple of times when we haven't been disconnected or something comes up. I really miss her and the fact that we are not able to have some time on the phone or on the net really sucks.

I am hopping that tomorrow things will go better. If all goes well we will be able to sit down and spend some time in a chat room and maybe on the phone. I am looking forward to it. Man I love that Woman!!!

It's a Hot One!!

Well it's another hot day here at Camp Airfjan. The day has been quite busy getting ready to leave for Camp Virginia. I just found out this afternoon that we aren't leaving now for another day. That's cool, cause it will give me some time to get some other things done. I heard the the temp up there is about 3 to 5 degrees hotter there. Good thing I am use to the heat from being stationed in 20 Palms.

Well today I decdied to get the rest of my laundry done. When I went back to get it, it was gone. Go figure. Ended up haveing to put more money out that I didn't plan on. It's a good thing I didn't put my DCU's in lol. there is a quick $60.00. At least I was able to replace the t-shirts and stuff that were taken.

The good thing about today is that I fianlly got the package out today for Kirs and the kids. I am hoppping it will get there next week. The mail seems to be getting better here as well as stuff getting home from here in Kuwait.

Well that's it for today. I have to finish uploading a video file for Kris and get some other things done befoer we get online and spend sometime together.

Right On !!

Well here it is monday evening 6:43pm Kuwaiti time. My day went rather well. Had to get up at 4:30am for PT which lasted an hour. We ended up running two miles today at a nice pace. I didn't do to bad for an old man lol. I spen most of my day packing up some of my gear as I am heading to another camp for a month. I am looking forward to it. They are going to have me work 6 hour shifts there in the MWR, Gymn and the phone center. It's cool casue it will give me some time to write letters back home.

I was able to talk with Kris this morning which was nice. I just missed her online after I finished loadign up a video for her. we talked for about 1/2 befoer she ha to go. The cool part is that she called me back a couple of hours later befoer she went to sleep. Anyways, I spent the other part of my day working on my web site getting some pictures uploaded. I am tryng to get as much done as possible befoer I go.

Well that's about it for now. I have to take off and grab some dinner. Until next time!!!

Right On !!!

Well here it is Sunday morning and I am at the office for the day till 8:00pm. The cool part is that Sunday's are pretty dead here. We usally get alot of traffic throughout the week except for Sundays. I ended up getting here around 6:00am this morning in hopes that Kris would be online so we could have some time together. A freind of ours is staying at the home for the next three weeks until she moves. So this means that Kris's abilty to get online for now will be less as te computer is in the room our freind is staying in. She told me that she is going to try and hook up the computer we have upstairs in hopes that she will be able to getonline there. I hope it works.

Last night went no better other than than the day started. I was able to atleast get a couple of e-mails to Kris along with 3 video files. At least today the server is up and running. Thank God!!

I have been working on my website thismorning and am very happy in the way it is turning out. I am hopping to get the picuters I have been working on uploaded by this evening if not before. Today is another scorcher. The thing added to the weather is the high winds we are having today. Won't be surprised if we have a couple of sand storms coming our way. Nothing like getting sand blasted on your way to chow or to your tent. Got to love the Big Sand box!!!

The days here in Kuwait still continue to go by fast. Friday we reached our 100th day here. Wow only 265 days to go. I am still waiting to find out the situation on my R&R. Still no word. I hoping that when I submit my date in June for August that they will will approve it. I really miss Kris and the Kids. The last visit home was difficult in loosing my dad. I still have days where I really miss him. There are times when some good news comes along or something cool happends an the first thought is that, "I got to call dad and tell him". Then reality sits in. It does get tough.

Well that's it for now. I need to get back to my project and get some things done. It sure is very peacful here today. I love it!! Kris, I miss you and love you very much. I look forward to talking with you later tonight babe!!!
