The Ugly Duckling

Ever hear that story? Well, i think it the same story in America. It about a really ugly duck grow up to a beauty. My life is part of it. It happen to me so fast and so short. You can say it a death mark on my time line. It takes me to today's me where I am just one inche away from Hades.
I finally understand the feeling of a beauty. Why do girl jeaious about them? They are living in Hell(sorry). Or maybe it just me.
On the summer, May 21, 2004 my world open again when I took the airplane back to Hong Kong, China. 6 years, the place was a big change. I was so happy there when I got off the plane, I was like a 5 year old. Since who wouldn't, Hong Kong-a city of fun compare to Anderson, SC. Ha!! ... But not only the place change. People changes. I can't believe my thought is still back to 10 years old where I think my cousins, friends will stay the same. One big joker became so quiet from 4' to 6'5. Everyone grow up except me. I cried secretly in the bathroom. That 6 years are big waste of time. It only me who stop in my life when everyone is like 100 mile away. I promise myself, I wouldn't be so childish, which I took the big step and move on------I changed myself -- into the one I always wish.. I put my life in goals. Promise I will get better in Languages and my career and others. My appearance did change but my personality stay the same. Which I still act like a boy. This summer, i learn the word - friend- Do you know I never believe two different culture can have something call friendship? - Well, not anymore! ...But when I come back to United States, everything fell apart. I guess I put too much hope in it which when something goes wrong, I feel lost.

~.*Everyone knows me well in the real world because the different appearance I had. I am a Chinese who is live in South Carolina where no Chinese exist. It was tough to adapt another language in my early year at United States. My story should begin in 6 years ago when my parents make the decision to immigrate to US. I am a girl who suffers from the difficulties in the realistic that no one knows about. *.~
