I just came back from a Youth Conference, for my church. 2 day thing. It's been quite interesting; one of the first conferences I've attended that have really spoken about different messages. One of the messages I've gotten out of the last 48 hours of speaking and sharing has been the topic of freedom of speech. The basic question was ... "why do people these days, fight so hard to reserve their rights to speak on any issue they wish. BUT why do people NOT have the right to argue against ideas? The moment someone speaks out against a common idea or generational issue, it is shunned or silenced. The world has become so self centered that we can't help but head down this path of idiocy. And I'm a part of this as well. Freedom of speech. We should let people say whatever they want, sure. But we shouldn't forget to give the people who disagree, a voice as well.
