When your second blog home bites the internet dust you start to wonder if it is some kind of great cosmic sign that the blogging force is against you and that maybe you should hang up your notepad and get some shit done in the real world. Our community, some of whom I have known online for four years now, has once again scattered. Frantic emails have been exchanged, “What do we do now? Do we wait to see if our old site comes back or do we move on? Where is everyone? Who farted?”

I have tried on no less than five new blogs in the last week trying to find a community that fits. I set this one up months ago when the drama began at the old homestead in case I decided to leave that farm in search of greener (nicer and better behaved) pastures. When the dust settled however I decided to stay…sometimes being with the people you care about is more important than being in a place you love. That leads me back here where a few of my friends have reconvened and started anew.

I hate moving. I am not good with change, I don’t like starting over and I am computerly handicapped so it takes me forever to figure out the workings of a new host but I will get it…eventually...and hopefully before this place goes tits up too

I hear you on the hatred for moving. I despise it. I like settled in, with a smattering of dust, stacks of books and my photography mags lying about the place.

I'm trying this because Sallie came over and now you're here. I honestly prefer the layout of my blog on my own domain betzography.com but can't for the life of me figure out how to bring it over here. Hell I was happy when I was able to get it installed over there! LOL.

I looked into setting up a webring for interested bloggers. It would make it much easier to keep track of everyone since they're all scattered. Honestly though, I'm not sure I have the time to fart around with it.

I'm looking for a blogging community, where I will cross post my entries, just in case Blogger croaks. I'm beginning to wonder if I'm the one who keeps jinxing all those previous blog homes... modblog, efx2. This place looks nice enough - will I break it?
