So... Today was a pretty good day. Track practice is killer and it's only been a week. My body doesn't even feel pain anymore. I went to my friends' house after practice and just hung around accomplishing nothing. I have to take SAT's really really soon and It hasn't really sunk in yet, so I'm still kinda blah about it. I really need to get on that prep book though. Recently I was looking through my computer and came across old icons and banners I made back when xanga was big. It made me miss those days of preteenhood and the drama of early highschool. Now it's all about tomorrow, the future, college, careers and life... ACK. tomorrow is Thanksgiving! I plan on relaxing a lot for the next day I must work. work on the busiest retail day of the year.

I've fallen ill. I plan on staying home tomorrow. I won't be missing anything and it will hopefully help me recover faster. Being sick while taking the SAT would suck. I've begun a book entitled The End of Faith by Sam Harris. It's really an explanation of the problems with extremism in religion, and how idiotic it is that in our modern society, we are still killing and dying over ancient scriptures. Yet it tears apart religious moderates as well. I don't know if I totally agree, but it makes sense. I enjoyed today overall. Christmas spirit has put me in a better way. Everything around me just seems simpler and easier to handle. ![]() |
