| Romans 8:29 (New International Version) For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. God had intended from the beginning that those whom He had chosen will have Christ formed in them fully.How do we know that He had intended full christformation in them? The following verse from the same passage above says so.... Romans 8:30 (New International Version) And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. Full Christformation in God's chosen ones is the glorified state of all God's beloved in Christ.In order to to arrive at that state,he or she has to be predestined first,and then the calling will come while on this earth,once obeyed to that calling, he or she will be justified and after justification will come glorification through full Christformation in him or her. There is no glorification without full Christformation.Why Christformation must happen fully in God's chosen? Because,Christ is the Firstborn among many brothers.We have to be like Him in His divine nature.His divine nature must be formed in us fully,for only Christ pleased the Heavenly Father on earth and in Heaven.For though He lowered himself to this earth and was humiliated by man,He remained the perfect representation of the Father in Heaven not tainted by sin but instead made a way for mankind to be purified by His shed blood on the Cross of Calvary. Now, He is seated at the right hand of the Father interceding for us that He himself be formed in us fully by our willing obedience to the Helper-the Holy Spirit who was sent to us for that sole purpose of forming full Christformation in us. |
