what can i say...

FIRST OFF, TODAY IS MY DAD'S 57TH BIRTHDAY!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD. I LOVE YOU.

now, welcome to hell... (read below)

today was a hellacious day. the police assessment at johnson city commenced today and it was absolute hell. i feel as if that option is over and out for good.. sad.gif i dont know but i felt like i didnt do shit right... i talked to major younger afterwards and he told me that i held my own and did as well as anyone else.. i dont know how accurate his words are but i am taking them for all they are worth. they fucked with us beyond my ability to tell you people. it was brutal. moody told me a little bit about it but shit fire, he was waaaaay off.. it was way harder. now i am holding onto my offer with the virginia state police like there's no tomorrow cry.gif i am PRAYING that this DOESN'T fall through.. for if it does, all i will have to fall back on is the tennessee highway patrol and i havent even taken the test yet. i take the test for THP on september 8th. i hope that goes well too... i just got back from mahoneys, the store where i bought my Kel-Tec P11 9mm, and bought some remington oil to lube up my new gun. i was reassured that i had invested in a stellar firearm while i was there.. i was thinking about exchanging my 9mm for the P3AT .380 but then after realizing that the .380 is HALF the 9mm punch, i said fuck that. the 9mm i have is perfect for concealment and carries wonderfully. it was designed for plainclothes police officers, as i have stated many times, and i feel safe packing such a firearm. this will be my passenger, other than moody, to richmond when we move up there next summer. well, he may be driving his own car, so i may just be making the trip in convoy, with my P11. i want to show all my buddies my new firearm but i NEVER see them with school and all. i hate it. i havent been to the CPA since school started back. i need to start going again and getting my basketball skills tweaked so i can still hang with black and the other guys i play ball with. i am sitting here and watching fox news and i just noticed that bill hemmer, one of the co-anchors for CNN has transferred and is now working for fox news, or so it appears. i have tried and tried to get the new nickelback song 'photograph' and all to no avail. anyways, i am going to finish this up and get into something... well, not really but still. cool.gif

oh yea, here are some pictures of my 9mm and the other gun that i am going to buy here before too long, the Kel-Tec P3AT .380. peace. cool.gif

my gun!!!! happy.gif

- Lightest 9 mm on the market
- Small size, but not too small
- Full power 9 mm (+P if you want)
- Full capacity: 10+1 and a spare mag @ 10= 21 carry rounds
- Safe, reliable design
- Good nite sites available at reasonable price
- Excellent service from the factory
- Low purchase price
- Decent availability of options, holsters, accessories
- This support forum and home page, and KT's home page

The biggest drawback to the gun seems to focus on the long trigger pull which initially affects accuracy and speed. That trigger pull is your "safety", keeping operation of the gun simple. Some women with small hands have trouble holding the double-column grip and pulling the long, relatively heavy trigger pull (8.5 lb. compared to 5 lb. for a single action), but this is no different than many other double action only guns.

In short, if you are looking for a reliable, small, lightweight, simple, accurate, affordable concealed carry weapon, look no further than the Kel-Tec P-11.

"The highest number to which a standing army can be carried in any
country does not exceed one hundredth part of the souls, or one
twenty-fifth part of the number able to bear arms. This portion
would not yield, in the United States, an army of more than
twenty-five or thirty thousand men. To these would be opposed
a militia amounting to near half a million citizens with arms
in their hands, officered by men chosen from among themselves,
fighting for their common liberties and united and conducted
by governments possessing their affections and confidence. It
may well be doubted whether a militia thus circumstanced could
ever be conquered by such a proportion of regular troops. Besides
the advantage of being armed, it forms a barrier against the
enterprises of ambition, more insurmountable than any which
a simple government of any form can admit of. The governments
of Europe are afraid to trust the people with arms. If they did,
the people would surely shake off the yoke of tyranny, as America
did. Let us not insult the free and gallant citizens of America
with the suspicion that they would be less able to defend the
rights of which they would be in actual possession than the
debased subjects of arbitrary power would be to rescue theirs
from the hands of their oppressors."
