cybernetix a peek at Lindemann's life Aug 27th, 2007 6:28:43 pm - Subscribe
As I was trying to surf the net with some interesting news, I came across a site that talked about the 21-member Building Better Communities Bond Program's Citizens' Advisory Committee (CAC) in Miami-Dade County. One of those members, who was George Lindemann, caught my attention.

Why? Because I've heard some of my friends mention his name for a few times already. So, I got curious and did some slight research.

And, here is what I got:

1) There is a George Lindemann from Palm Beach, Florida who was considered to be one of the top 10 richest man in the world. He ranked 6th.

2) A 30-year-old George Lindemann Jr. who is described ad a multimillionaire collector and museum benefactor. He was also found to be sitting with Tom Healy (a poet, collector, and prominent figure on the international art circuit).

3) There's this George Lindemann who owns the schooner Adela which known to be "A Masterpiece" with her over-all length of 140 feet plus the navigation, communications, propulsion systems and creature comforts are decidedly state-of-the-art.

Oh well, whoever this man is, I could say that he's probably got everything in life (when it comes to wealth, that is).

cybernetix on having a beautiful nose Aug 27th, 2007 6:32:39 pm - Subscribe
what's in a nose? i asked myself.

aside from the fact that it is the organ of smell and serves as the entrance to our respiratory tract, it is the prominent part of the face of man or other mammals. it adds beauty to our physical appearance. that is probably one of the reasons why others want to undergo rhinoplasty in Los Angeles, hehe. they wanted their nose to be in a shape that would fit their face -- be it pointed, big, small, anything goes.. grin.gif

cybernetix our crowning glory Aug 27th, 2007 6:35:09 pm - Subscribe
i know that most people will really agree to the statement that our hair is our crowning glory. well, i do believe in that, too. happy.gif i guess that's why most people result to having a hair transplant in order to make their hair appear more beautiful and full of life.

also, here are some tidbits about our HAIR:

a) It is a filamentous outgrowth of dead cells from the skin, found only on mammals. Although many other life forms, especially insects, show filamentous outgrowths, these are not considered "hair" regarding the accepted meaning of the term. (source: www.Wikipedia.com)

b) It's normal for hair to gradually thin on the scalp, pubic area, and armpits. As hair pigment cells decline in number, gray hair growth increases. (source: www.Health.MSN.com)

c) Jewelry woven from human hair, made either as a romantic token for a loved one or from the hair of a deceased friend or family member as a sentimental remembrance. Jewelry is also woven from horsehair and elephant hair. (source: ValleyFairJewelers.com)

d) Hair identifies with the head as a center of spiritual power and sexual energy. Men who dream of going bald may fear a loss of their virility. Hair has been a sacred and spiritual symbol throughout history. For example, it was the secret of the strength of Sampson in the biblical story. (source: www.Dream-Dictionary.org)

cybernetix a carousel - yipee! Aug 27th, 2007 6:47:37 pm - Subscribe
for the past days, i've been wanting to go to the carnival. it has been years since i last enjoyed the rides; and now that it's finally here in our place, i've been soooo excited to visit the carnival. however, due to the heavy rainfall, my officemates and i couldn't push through with our plans to go there, huhu. cry.gif

i've been wanting to ride the roller coaster, caterpillar and many more. but most especially, i wanted to ride the carousel, hehe. happy.gif

oh well.. since i couldn't go there yet.. sad.gif i decided to surf the net. luckily, i found this test.. What Carnival Ride Are You?

and here's my result:

You Are a Carousel

You are young at heart and a truly playful person. No one would ever accuse you of taking life too seriously.

You are definitely in things for the fun. You find joy easily, and you are often building up anticipation for your next adventure.

In relationships, you tend to want to be babied and taken care of.

And while you may be a bit high maintenance, you are incredibly loyal.

Your life is simple and satisfying. Each day you treat yourself to something you enjoy.

You have a lot of emotional attachments, and experiences are extra vivid to you.

You tend to be nostalgic and sentimental. The past is important to you.

Comfortable around all living things, you have a special connection to animals and children.

At your best, you are whimsical, free spirited, and creative.

Even if your schemes seem a bit strange, they usually work out wonderfully.

At your worst, you are spoiled, demanding, and impossible to satisfy.

You've been known to act like a brat if you aren't getting your way!

What Carnival Ride Are You?

well, i'm just happy to know that even if i haven't been to the carnival to ride the carousel yet, i have become a carousel in the test, hehe. Could a Naples plastic surgery turn me into one? lol. i hope i'm making sense. i'm just really trying to make the most out of this day because i feel soo deprived today. cry.gif
