Today I purchased a new 30GB Black Ipod with Music Photo & Video.
The new iPod boasts up to 20 hours of battery life(5), five hours more than before. Plus, you get a bigger display and one more iPod color — sleek black. But here’s the kicker: At under half an inch thin, the new 30GB iPod takes up about 45 percent less room than the original iPod. Even the new 60GB model is over 10 percent thinner than the fourth-generation 30GB iPod. More features in less space? Sounds like iPod.

30GB Ipod Features
  • Plays music, videos, and photo slideshows
  • Up to 14 hours of music playback with rechargeable lithium-ion battery
  • Includes Ipod, earphones, USB 2.0 port (USB 2.0 recommended) Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later, Windows 2000 SP4, or Windows XP Home or Professional (SP2) and iTunes 6 or later

  • 30GB model is 4.1 x 2.4 x 0.43 inches; 60GB model is 4.1 x 2.4 x 0.55 inches
  • Bright 2.5-inch, 320 x 240 pixel TFT display
  • Up to 20 hours of battery life(5)
  • Holds up to 25,000 photos(3)

cool, i like the black ones in the video and nano. I had been thinking of getting the same one you have, but I'm also looking at the archos gmini, creative zen vision, psp and im thinking apple may release a iPod with video with a bigger screen size. Not sure yet, but i'll wait a while. Also, once we start doing the Spurscast in video, i'll have to give you the link for the ipod for video download.
