Music: New Order - Regret

Explains how Spybot located adware and spyware located within Bearshare's ad supported client. Beware of the Zango software installation.

Company: Musiclab
Product: Bearshare
Threat: PUPS

Company product URL:
http://www.bearshare.com

Functionality
Supposed to be a free , adsupported client for the Gnutella p2p network.

Description
Running Bearshare requires the installation of Zango. Uninstalling Zango will disable Bearshare.

During installation the checkbox for bening "18 or older " is already checked, this is not a valid for an installer. Also the Bearshare Eula strangely forbids members of phantom companies from using bearshare.

Bearshares website is also registered through domains by proxy which is also not a valid option for a proper company.

Personally
I noticed with BearFlix and not Bearshare, that it has popups after a few minuites after one loads up the program. Plus on the splash page there are banner advertisements.

Spyware sucks. Thats why I stick with BitTorrent downloading. 100% Spyware free for UTorrent.

Bearshare has become too full of virus's and fake files plus their company is sleezy by knowingly incorperating spyware into their software.

I have been using bearshear and been happy with it. I accidently erased zango off my computer. Now bearshare won't work. How can I fix this?
