A Visit to Del Rio Texas from April 28th - 30th
This past weekend Priscilla and I headed to Del Rio on Friday afternoon to spend time with my parents, and to get our 2000 Toyota Corolla repaired. On Friday night there was a really bad storm with 65 mile per hour winds and marble sized hail. My mom was scared, but the storm only lasted about 15 to 20 mins thankfully. While in Del Rio we spent time most of our time with my grandparents it was really great to see how they were doing. On Saturday I helped my dad set up a new box spring and matresses for the house, it took lots of work getting the rails to separate but we finally got it done thanks to Priscilla. Saturday evening my dad took us (Mom, Priscilla, Grandma Lambert, and Grandpa Lambert) to Mexico. We ate at a really nice mexican resturant called Manuel's. I had the Steak and Quail my Dad had the Tapiquenas, and Priscilla had Chicken Fried Steak that did not taste like steak but more like fish. On Sunday I helped my Dad put their old matresses in storage at one of the homes, and by 5:30 PM or so Priscilla and I were on our way back home to San Antonio.
