Dell Photo Printer 540 Consumer Review

Our Dell Photo Printer 540 arrived today. This machine is seriously small. Its about the size of 2 zip drives on top of each other. Well I guess the only bad thing is that the sample cartridge only prints out 10 photos for you, and the Dell Photo Printer 540 only accepts Dell Photo Printer Paper which rather lame. The great thing about it was the price (95.00) and picture quaility of the photos, but I mean who wants to order 40 sheets of photo paper for 20.00...and wait 3 days for it to get here. In the end is a neat machine, that is very dependant on Dell Products.

If you need quick and inexpensive 4x6 prints, Walmart can make them for 19 cents each and they turn out excellent in an hour. HEB, last time I checked, was 24 cents, but you can choose from glossy or matte. Both places should accept any kind of media including memory stick and cd-rom. Of course you miss out on the convenience of doing it at home.

Actually alot of times were at HEB/Walmart, I will greatly consider the idea. Also Walgreens also has prints for .13 cents...so I have seen on there signs. Thanks for the heads up! Are you from Eagle Pass, who are you? happy.gif
