Ok I have been looking into getting a firewire card for my new pc. So your asking why do I need a firewire card? Well let me tell you, or maby you can tell me. My understanding is that connecting my video camera to a firewire card will transfer data (memory card) MUCH quicker...but will also find AND transfer my video camera's Digital Video Cassette. Now then, thats ALL I want. If anyone has any input about this process or can maby recommend a great deal on a firewire card 800MB+, please speak up. Thanks all.
