These past days have been so hellish. On Friday Dec 21, 03. I've been working at a Firework Stand that I leased from Alamo Fireworks. Pretty cool huh? Its located on E. Houston Street on the left side as you are heading out of the city. Check out this map to find our location Well we recieved over 240 cases worth of fireworks which flooded our parking lot. All night my co-worker "Mark" and some of his family sorted the cases out. Well by the time we were finished sorting it was already 1am CST, and it was probley around 37-47 degrees. So we crammed all the boxs in the stand and decided to finish up the following day.
*BTW: Thanks Wade for the ride!
Saturday I didnt head to the stand until around 4ish. Pricilla had my car and she headed back home to see her family for the weekend. Well by the time I got to the stand all the boxs we crammed were back on the dirt parking lot. And about 5% were actually put on the shelves. hoorah! To make a long story short we finished putting all the product on the shelves around 10pm, and all we needed to do from there was price the product. Very simple.
Sunday (today) Priscilla will be coming in around 5pm to 6pm and we will be heading back out there so Mark can go home and take a shower. (Remember somebody has to ALWAYS be out there so that product doesnt get stolen). Well I will keep you posted on how it goes.

Its funny that both of you mention this. When Alamo Fireworks did the final inventory on our stand they stated that 9000.00 was missing either cash or product. I assured them that wasnt the case, but they insisted that product / finance was missing. 1 year later we payed everything back. NEVER making a profit. Missing Christmas, and New Years. All for nothing. What a rip off. My wife and I were highly (seriously) upset. But whos to arge with a company that does not work with you. |

I have nothing against the company, perhaps it was internal with us. The only thing that mattered to them though is that they got there money back. No tears towards Alamo Fireworks. |

Regards to the anonymous comments, which I did read to that corporate dude, if your company would not have screwed people in the first place this post would of never happened. To me it is a company flaw and it really sucks for you because well bad business rep. You have to prove yourself worthy now. Very tough thing to do, enjoy. As for me I will never work with Alamo Fireworks company due to the opinions expressed in this blog =) Good Day!
