You have received an eCard Virus Spam
For the past month my wife has been receiving these 'You have received an eCard' emails. Well my wife is pretty smart, and she will not click any links until she can verify its not a spoof or phishing based email.
To assist various users on the web, I will post up these emails so that one can be aware of the spam and virus that are going on and compromising internet users computers.
Below are 2 emails that we received with valid websites, but what the end user does not know is in the email when you hover over the website link, it takes you to an IP that implements these virus.

I received several cards from my friends and family in the past and it always says who it is from.
I noticed that the last persons post on 10/1 says the same thing. and notice "we hope you enjoy YOU ecard", not "YOUR" ecard. Mine was written the same way.
Thanks for the heads up! |

Got two of these today, with a .zip-file attached. The .zip-file contains an .exe which probably contains a virus.
