A step by step walkthrough on How to Change the Desktop Icon Size in Windows XP. This can also be done on Windows XP Media Center 2005.

Follow the step's below. You will be able to make the desktop icon's as big or as small as you like.

How to Change the Desktop Icon Size in Windows XP

  1. Go to Start
  2. Control Panel
  3. Double click on the Display Icon
  4. Go to the Appearance Tab
  5. Click on the Advanced Button
  6. In the Item Drop Down Selection choose Icon
  7. Now choose the size. (From 16 to 72)
  8. Click Apply
  9. Ok


Now view your desktop and boom your desktop icon size is now changed. Pretty easy huh? (Just a hard to find area).
