Explains how to ethically hack a wifi wireless internet connection using free hacking software.
Have a laptop, or a wireless internet card in your PC? Have you ever been in the position that where you lost your WEP / WPA key, and you interested on retrieving it back? Well with Aircrack you can.Aircrack is a set of tools for auditing wireless networks. It consists of: airodump (an 802.11 packet capture program), aireplay (an 802.11 packet injection program), aircrack (static WEP and WPA-PSK cracking), and airdecap (decrypts WEP/WPA capture files).
I have used aircrack to try and hack my own wireless network and I happy to say I am as secure as I can get wirelessly. Again Aircrack comes with the four following pieces of software to help you secure your wireless internet connection

Infact they are nothing new, and they aren't "hack tools" they are network security auditing applications. www.aircrack-ng.org/doku.php#download There's the official link, don't use some cr@p archive that could contain a modified malicious copy. anonymous - April 26th, 2007 I used these programs I hopped on my bike (I am 13) and put mu laptop in my crate on the back of my bike and when I signal was aquired it beeped and I turned around and hacked their connection anddepending on how far away the house was from my house I biked back home and leeched their connection successfully and managed to get a download speed of 1.8mbps and upload speed of 500kbps. Just to say it works and is sick! |

anonymous - December 06th, 2007 FROM THE OFFICIAL SITE: Next, you need to decide which of three options you will use to run the aircrack-ng suite. The three options are: 1. Linux distribution of your choice plus the aircrack-ng suite 2. Live CD which contains a version of the aircrack-ng suite 3. VMWare image which contains a version of the aircrack-ng suite I believe you can't run this in Windows. You have to be running Linux. So, boot up a Live CD or VMWare to get it running. |

anonymous - January 09th, 2008 you'd be better downloading slax and using the aircrack.mo module from there site it allows injection of packets in the wireless network and is a lot quicker you can collect the half million ivs that are need for aircrack to get the wireless key in a matter of hours rather than a matter of days if you run under windows. |
