Many internet users have Dell Machines. But when doing entering a wrong URL in your address bar in Internet Explorer / Fire Fox, have you received a default Dell Search page? Pretty annoying huh? Well I will show you How to Remove the Dell Search Page from Windows.
Follow these steps below to get started. Remember that all Google Products are free and can be downloaded from google.com
How to Remove the Dell Search Page from My Windows Computer
Go to Start
Control Panel
Add or Remove Programs
Find "Browser Address Error Redirector" or "GoogleAFE"
If those are not listed, simply remove all that is named google.
Click uninstall
From there you will be asked to reboot your computer. Once that is complete your search page will default to MSN or your browsers preferred search engine. (mines Google Search)

My computer listed an item labeled "url Assistant" When I could not find anything labeled Google, I check the properties of Url Assistant and low and behold, it was the culprit.
Thank you for the tip
