A short tutorial on How to Turn Off Auto Complete in Internet Explorer.

Auto complete is a feature of Internet Explorer, that automatically completes a search term that a user may have searched for previously.

To turn off auto complete in internet explorer, simply do the following steps in IE.

  • Open Internet Explorer
  • Tools
  • Internet Options
  • Content Tab
  • AutoComplete Button

    As stated: AutoComplete Lists possible matches from entries you've typed before:
    Use AutoComplete for: Web Addresses, Forms, User names, and passwords.

    To remove simply uncheck and clear forms or passwords.
