How to Uninstall / Remove Internet Explorer Add-Ons

This entry explains How to Delete or Uninstall Internet Explorer Add-Ons. I read on the microsoft website today that the end user is not able to uninstall / remove Internet Explorer Add-On's. Well you know me, I won't settle for that.

How to Uninstall / Remove Internet Explorer Add-Ons, here is how I figured it out.

Open Internet Explorer
Manage Add-Ons
Find the Add-On on the list Manage Add-On List
Highlight it
Click on More Information
Click on Remove

Easy enough? Wonder if MS overlooked this.

Now then, if the Remove button is not highlighted or it does not allow you to remove the Add-On, this means that their is a program that you installed associated with the Internet Explorer Add-On. To fix this, simply remove the installed program, and if needed start from step 1 of this entry.

It doesn't work, i dont want the add on in my internet explorer. can i uninstall it? Can you kindly add me in msn huang_huiming@Hotmail.com? I need your guide please.

It doesn work for me... when I click remove nothing happens. and I dont think there's a different add on associated with it.

Might you have a solution for a "Remove" button that is grayed-out?
