Johnny Carson Passes Away at 79 Years Old

That's nothing against Joey Bishop, Dick Cavett, Alan Thicke, Joan Rivers, Pat Sajak, Jay Leno or David Letterman -- or Steve Allen and Jack Paar, for that matter. It's just that there will never be another Johnny, or another era in time like the 30 years he spent as host of "The Tonight Show" on NBC.

I remember watching Johnny Carson back in my hometown of Del Rio at my grandparents home, and at my parents place. I started to watch Johnny Carson back when ihas curtin was purple, orange, and blue. Im old huh? Well anyways, I just wanted to give my little 'thanks' for all the chuckles.

I've only seen clips of The Tonight Show when he hosted it. Mainly lately, since my mom watches a few shows who are talking about him and his death, as expected, of course.
