Everyone: No sane person who has one of the rare pieces is going to share with any of you. There are only a few of the rare pieces; the rest are extremely common and easy to come by. The game really isn't about collecting all properties for a given color group, it's about getting one of the stamps that they only printed a very limited number of. There's a reason that everyone seems to be lacking the same properties, i.e. Boardwalk. Why would someone with a one-in-a-million piece want to split 50/50 with someone who has pieces that are easily attainable?

There simply is no need to share profits with anyone if you are lucky enough to have one of the rare properties. All the common properties are a dime a dozen. I found myself laughing at some of these posts where people are willing to share 50/50 if someone else has the rare property! The true ratio should be something like 99.99999/0.11111 where the person who has the rare property gets 99.99999 percent of the prize. That would be a more equitable deal considering how difficult it is to find the missing properties that everyone is seeking.

Not 100% sure but if someone wants to trade pieces I live in Canada and can likely claim prizes tax free and can give you 60% which is more than you'd get claiming the whole prize and getting taxed. Let me know if you want to trade pieces. dd

all of you have the common pieces. for every prize there is one very rare pice. for example, on the reds, Kentucky Ave is impossible top get. EVERYONE has the other two. so, no one who has kentucky ave will want to split the prize with u. they will just go to mickey D's for a week til they get the other 2 reds cause thats how common the other 2 are.
