Poteet Strawberry Festival

On Saturday Priscilla, Gabriel, Janete and myself went to the Poteet Strawberry Festival. It took us about 30 minutes to get there because of traffic on Saturday afternoon. Why is that? Why does the city decide to have construction on a Saturday?! Well after taking Loop 410 all the way from IH-10 to the Poteet Exit…we were almost there. I know I should have taken my camera, but I totally forgot about it! Well I guess it was one less thing to carry, huh. We all had various types of foods like gorditas, strawberry shortcake, bbq burger, and strawberry wine. We were able to see the duck races…that would have been awesome if we had Milani with us. She would have been so excited to see them swim. We arrived at The Poteet Strawberry Festival at 4:00pm and we left around 8:00pm or so. Thanks for all the tickets Gabriel!

Wow...that sounds like so much fun! Maybe I'll go to the one that's in our area when it comes around next. Glad you had fun!
