Sammy & Nadia Farhat Wedding

This weekend Priscilla and I really had a blast. We arrived in Del Rio at 3pm with 2 hours to spare before the rehersal at the church. The priest talked us then walked us through the ceremony and everything went well. After church we headed to dinner at Ramada Inn where they served family, friends, and the bridal party filet mignons, with shrimp, green beans, a baked potato and tea. Several beers and mix drinks later that night, the bridal party headed to a local watering hole (bar) where Priscilla and I only spent about 45 mins or so, then we went home.

The next day Priscilla and I woke up around 10:30 AM and ate breakfast at Fishermans Headquarters with my Dad and my Uncle Mark from Santa Barbara, California. My dad, uncle, and myself had the Huevos Rancheros and Priscilla had pancakes and eggs. Yum. If you're in the area here is the address for you.

After we ate we had about 1 hour or so to get ready before the Wedding. We got ready in under 45 mins and Priscilla and I were on our way. When we got there, everything was setup and ready to go. The wedding at the church was really nice, and everyone looked great in my pictures that I have. I hope I can get some of the photographers digital stills and a copy of the tape that the video camera man had. That would be awesome.

After the wedding Priscilla and I had a 3 hour intermission before the reception. So we just went home watched tv and relaxed with my mom and dad.

When it was reception time Priscilla and I made our way to Del Rio's very own Civic Center. We were served Chicken with mushrooms, green beans, salad and wild rice...there was alot of food aside from what I mentioned. Oh yea there was also an open bar with Coke, Beer, Liquiors, Bottle Water etc. Everything was wonderful. Nadia and Sammy have large families and it was awesome that Nadia's side came all the way up from the lower part of Texas (The Valley) to come visit her. The band which was from San Antonio even drove all the way down to come play. From what my mom mentioned they are very popular in Texas. Priscilla and I really had a great time, and it was my pleasure to be the best man in Sammy & Nadia's Wedding.
