Explains how the new NFL Network wants Time Warner Customers to pay $140 Million Dollars to watch Football.
quote:
After repeated attemps to negotiate, the NFL refuses to allow Time Warner Cable to offer The NFL Network on the Sports Package. In fact, they want to charge us - and in turn our customers - $140 million for games that were once available on other networks. Forcing all of out customers to pay? That's one game we won't play.
Personally, I am happy that Time Warner is sticking to there guns regarding the NFL Network issue. I mean, here comes the NFL trying to sell there games, like HBO, Showtime, and Cinemax...but cmon there football games. We have grown use to experiencing football on Mondays, and Sundays...Thanksgiving and Christmas, this is selfishness at its best. I personally will NOT pay to watch a football game at home, and I can assure you neither will my family.
NFL - You guys are getting yourself into a heep of trouble. That whole thing where you guys state, 'This game will not be broadcasted, transfered, copied, without the written consent of the NFL will be crap. Everyone will probably try and breach this agreement, one way or another. Thats not my business, but it should be your's. Nice job NFL.

Yea, I firmly believe in not paying for TV twice. This goes for the NFL Network. But, heck I got all the channels, but the NFL Network. 100% Legal.

yea, glad Time Warner is sticking to their guns as well. This NFL Network is pissing me off bc there are some Cowboys games that will be on NFL network that I'm guessing I'll have to miss. The other thing is NBA League Pass, I want a Spurs league pass for games that I can't catch in Martindlale/San Marcos like the My35 ones. I don't need the rest of the NBA teams and I won't pay the price for league pass just for maybe 1 or 2 Spurs games I can't watch per week.
