Torrentspy Blocks US Visitors from Downloading Torrents

As stated by Torrent Spy:

quote:
Torrentspy Acts to Protect Privacy
Sorry, but because you are located in the USA you cannot use the search features of the Torrentspy.com website.Torrentspy's decision to stop accepting US visitors was NOT compelled by any Court but rather an uncertain legal climate in the US regarding user privacy and an apparent tension between US and European Union privacy laws.

Honestly I think TorrentSpy gotta wiff of the stink of the RIAA, MPAA, and other down with p2p organizations. It only takes one legal letter to scare you, and obviously since TorrentSpy is a US based company, they dont want any trouble. happy.gif

Too bad they blocked users. I'm sure this will hurt there advertising revenue.
