Tubing on the River

This weekend we are planning on going tubing on the Guadalupe River. As of now it will most likely be Sam his fiance Nadia, and Priscilla & I. This will be the second time I have gone tubing, the first time we went out on the Comal River with a bunch of people that are friends of Priscillas uncle. If there is tubing in your area, I would highly recommend you give it a try. Its a great way to relax with your favorite beverage and just have a good ol'time.

No problem Amanda. Hey Mux, yea I had an incident back when I was little in Galveston Texas. So I was at the beach swimming, when I was caught in an undertow. For those of you who do not know what an undertow here is a definition:
"A current below water surface flowing seaward; the receding water below the surface from waves breaking on a shelving beach."
I was about 8 years old when this happend, I seriously thought I was a goner, the last thing I remembered was looking up and watching the water cover my eyes and seeing my hand being submerged. So, it can be scary, but I took the initiative and learned how to swim better. Now, I have no problems swimming, in fact I can swim width wise across Lake Amistad (Our lake in Del Rio Texas), its really great.

Ah, I too had something happen. The drop-offy thing in this one beach, well, I was standing on it, and the wave rolled over me and I was stuck under water. I was like, totally upset because no matter how much I fought to get up, the water pulled me down. After the "Washing Machine" thing happened, I ran to shore happy to be alive. I was coughing up seawater. x.x; The taste wouldn't go away. And THEN my dad tells me you just HOLD YOUR BREATH and it'll let you back up. Turns out my little brother experienced the same. It was scary all the same.
Anyway, tubing sounds fun. And it LOOKS fun. Mmm.
