Windows 7 How to Remotely Stream Music and Videos to any PC

This entry will explain how to remotely stream music and video from home to your work in Windows 7.
Ever wanted to get access to your music, videos, and other media on your home pc from work, or while traveling? Well, Windows 7 makes this process easy. Below is all you will need to get started.
Requirements:
Windows 7 Business and above
Windows Media Player 11
Decent internet connection
Windows 7 How to Remotely Stream Music and Videos from Home
- Go to Start
- All Programs
- Windows Media Player
- If the player is open and you're in Now Playing mode, click the Switch to Library button in the upper-right corner of the Player.
- Click Stream
- Turn on home media streaming
- On the Media streaming options page, click Turn on Allow Access to Home Media. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
- Click on Link an Online ID
- Click Add an online ID provider (Keep in mind an Online ID provider must be installed on your machine in order to link an online ID to your Windows user account.)
- You should now be directed to: Windows 7 online ID providers.
- Download Download for 32-bit
- Install the software
- Type your user name and password for the online ID to sign in, and then click OK.
- In the Internet Home Media Access dialog box, click Allow Internet access to home media. Administrator permission required If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
- Click OK.
Keep in mind when trying to Stream Music and Video's in Windows 7
If your computer is on a public network, you will be prompted to change the network location before you can stream media. For more information about network locations, see Choosing a network location.
If you have set up a homegroup, you might be prompted to share your media libraries with your homegroup before you can stream media. For more information about sharing libraries with a homegroup, see Share libraries with your homegroup.
To send and receive your home media streams over the Internet, the current version of Windows Media Player must be installed on the computers you plan to use.
The home computer used to stream media can't be on a public network or joined to a domain.
A linked online ID can be associated with 10 Windows user accounts.
Internet access to home media isn't available on Windows 7 Starter or Windows 7 Home Basic
