I'm realy sad...not devastated depressed, just sad. Last night was our last show. My last ever in High School. I'll never get to do this again with these kids. It has been one of the best things I've ever done...ever. I'm going to miss spending all my afternoons and evenings with my crew friends. And hell week, all the tech rehersals, show nights, the parties. I think you have to be on crew to know what I'm talking about, or an actor. But the crew doesn't change as much as the cast. And thats another thing, I'm going to miss spending time with the actors, they are all so fun despite the fact they don't obey our line of sight lines . Sometimes we feed the actors we like...I'll miss feeding the actors. I'll miss the late nights, early mornings, puns and inuendos, swearing, running to walgreens, forgetting props, everything...It's been so fun. *sigh* I better stop before I get tears in my eyes, which I'm surprised hasnt happened. I won't cry, but my eyes get watery and my heart gets heavy. But its a good sad, I'll be able to remember this forever. And thats all realy. I will say that one more reason I love crew is this. We were supposed to strike the set at ten this morning but when we got there the set direcor wasnt there so the six of us that showed up found a janitor to open the scene shop and we took a lot of crap apart. We worked really fast, we kicked ass. Katie called Mr. Steve and he said if Mr. D didn't show by 12:15 to go home. I dont think he knew we were working though. Seeing as how we might get in trouble anyways for what we did. But it was worth it.We went out for pizza afterwards and that was hella fun. I love crew <3 |
