eadwine's blogTruly, nothing happened, save for a number of snow falls on and off. It was pretty, took a few pictures of my bulb tulips that were covered in snow. I went back inside really quickly though! It was c-c-cold.
My dad's intention was to go visit the family in the south, but he decided not to when it started snowing really badly. This kind of weather you just don't want to get stuck in when on the road. I was happy to hear it, been worrying about it for a few days, him being out there in that stuff, and now my worries were safely put aside.
I took another attempt at the five strand braid, and passed it with flying colors. I intend to wear it tomorrow if I can manage to make it look reasonable. I have a small hair toy in my bag for the afternoon, should it look ratty by then, so I can quickly bun it without any trouble.
Ugh I get to go to miss difficult again too. *sigh* I am always glad when I am done there, that is for sure. The afternoon will be my chatterbox and dogbark client, unless they call in AGAIN for me to go someplace else. Unlikely though, that. I wonder how this lady is going to react to what I did with my hair! The Wednesday afternoon client is going to be raving on it, not a doubt on that one.
I spent the day surfing online, and watching a few video tape things that I still had laying around. I tape stuff so I don't have to miss talking with Dragon in his morning before work. I have already figured out where my need to get out of bed to check if he is on comes from. It feels the exact same as when you wake up and roll over to see your loved one there next to you. It's reassuring. At least that got figured out, since it was bothering me a bit as to why I just cannot sleep in like any normal person would!
In the evening.. well.. late afternoon really.. I decided to make me spaghetti, wanting something yummy to eat that was easy, and after that started on the pile of dishes in my sink. I do them every day but sometimes I really do NOT want to be bothering with them. Especially during the weekends I am lazy with them. Anyway.. pile cleaned out. Bah.
I managed to catch Dragon online before he left for work, and after getting everything ready that I can for tomorrow I am heading to bed. I have some sleep to catch up on from staying up late over the long weekend, and I need to get up earlier to boot. Hopefully tomorrow will be over with soon!
