This is obviously a hair entry. *laughs* I have killer hair, especially when it is damp. Well.. I overstressed one toy today and it went crack as I inserted it.

This is such a shame.. I have only purchased this recently. It is not a product flaw though, I have worn it a number of times without a problem at all; it would have broken on the first try if it was faulty. I have emailed the manufacturer to see what they can do (make it into a two prong and a stick, maybe) but I doubt it will be worth the price I'd have to pay in total and I'd best just get a new one. I got an offer on the Dutch hair forum from someone who is willing to sand it down to a two prong and one stick for me, wait and see how that is going to turn out.
I took a break in writing this entry right after I wrote that bit above, and in the mean time I have gotten word from the seller, 60thstreet. They are sending me a replacement fork. FOR FREE! Despite the fact that they are in NO way responsible for my hair killing their wonderful toy, they are offering me a new free of charge (they are even paying for shipping!) fork. WHOA! Of course I have thanked them using my regular enthusiastic way of thanking people. Hehe.
After that I started thinking. I needed to change my bun around so not as much force is on the forks, that is for sure. I don't want to break another one!
I had been to the dentist this afternoon (all was dandy, not even tartar removal needed) and I still had it in a loose braid. I figured: let's try and turn this like I do the bun and secure it. Normally I have to twist the hair to get rid of some of the length, and a braid will hold itself, so there is not so much tight twisted hair stuff for that fork to hold. Pull out the band right before securing and voilà, here is the result!

I think I like it even better than the original bun *snort*
