He didn't think much of it really, and went back to bed. Only the next day did he notice that they had been trying to get in by forcing the lock. Half of the cylinder was gone, broken off, and the faceplate was gone as well. He has taken pictures of it and reported it to the police. He can come in for an official statement on Monday.
Yes, that is how they left it. Nice and neat job. Needless to say he changed the lock for a safer one, and hopefully that will do it. My guess is they saw him sitting there at tax time with the computers and lots of paperwork. Meaning: lots to get. I'll get a new key soon.
I had another weird alien dream again last night. This is getting tiresome. This time I was a helicopter pilot. There was some alien life form that was friendly, and food needed to be distributed in the air, micro organisms. Just before distribution I, along with some others, got word that this life form was not friendly at all and was planning an invasion. I was just about to try and think of something to do when I had to wake up.
I wonder where all this comes from. No I have not been watching the X-files. It is just strange. The common denominator is the outside invading force that wants to take over the world, and me saving said world. At least two times out of three, but I want to bet this one dream would have turned out the same way, I just didn't have enough time to dream it through.
Putting this on me personally I would say that I am feeling that some outside thing/person invades my life, wanting to take over, but I find out and conquer it. With some casualties, yes, but still.
Now what would that be?? I haven't got a clue! I cannot think of anything that is doing a hostile takeover to be honest *shrug* Needs more pondering this one. Or rather: more clues please! Because even after three times I am not getting the message.
Went to work, and did my normal chores that were planned, and I was glad to be able to go home and talk with Dragon a bit before he went off. I won't see much of him this weekend unfortunately, he's visiting family then. He might hop on, but I am not holding my breath.
This afternoon I was waiting for some heater unit guys to show up, and what I guessed would happen, happened: no-one showed. Good thing I didn't take a day off! I will call these folks, pissed, telling them to explain to me why no call was made to me, even though they HAD my number; I explicitly gave it to them should I not hear my doorbell to call me! Urgh. It has happened before, last summer.. and the thing I heard then was that a new appointment slip would be in the mail. That one NEVER came until I decided to call myself, which was right the first week when I used the heater again for wintertime. *rolls eyes*
No dragon charm here either, but that would be pushing it, as it was mailed off on the 24th or 25th of March. Hopefully it will get here tomorrow so I can start the cleansing.
