Worked on the new apartment today and what a hot day it was in NJ. Started in Home Depot and rented a big sanding machine to sande down the wooden floors in the apartment. Pretty heavy piece of machinery given that I had to bring it up 3 flights of stairs, thank God I had a friend to help.
Before we began sanding we had to wipe down the floor with some water. After that we began to sand down the floor with a heavy grit, in oreder to take off the top coat of polyurethane. This took about five hours because we had many square feet to cover.
We stopped sanding for the day and began a sweet BBQ to finish off the hard days work.
