A CEO's Life

I guess I should start at the begning, because it's a very good place to start. My name, for the sake of this blog, is Elle. As of last week, I am now the proud CEO of Hilarity Ensues, a mid sized corporation in the EVE online universe. My job is to herd a bunch of gamers and slackers and take HE from a slacker corporation to a lean, mean, isk making machine.
This job, is about as easy as nailing jello to a tree. The problem is that most of them have BIG dreams, but so very few of them are willing to follow through. This is why I implemented a new rule - If you come up with an idea, you have to make it happen. The first victim of this rule was K, who suggested entering a local PVP contest. Fortunately, he was willing to take the ball and run with it.
We also just recently left Big Cocky Alliance (BCA) and are trying to make it in this big, scary universe alone. My biggest job is to secure Non Agression Pacts with as many of the big alliances out here as I can. I also am trying to negotiate trading deals and PVP opportunties so my guys don't get bored.
It is a lot of work, but it is also a lot of fun.
