moccasins
I'm feelin' drained.

lately, i've been on a quest to find the perfect moccasins. searching online has yielded surprisingly good results; i now desire an entire moccasin collection... ahhh! anyway, i thought i'd point out some pairs that i really like.

these boots were designed by manimal. the "ribcage"-style regular moccasins are pretty nifty as well. check out their site if you're interested.

i apologize for the enormous image. i'm pretty sure i'm going to order the blue & white ones.

if anyone has suggestions, feel free to send them my way!

let us be free, let us sing songs along
I'm feelin' alive.

last night was a-a-a-mazing. jess, kim and i danced all night long. unfortunately, there are no pictures, but there are fond memories, and muscle aches.

the ruby suns played songs from sea lion. they recently became only two people, so it was crazy watching them switch instruments and create loops and things; all this multi-tasking was happening. when we were dancing, i felt like the crowd was a dark blue sea and i was seaweed moving with the waves. i could see the sun and the sand and everything.

tilly rocked the house. there's no way with all those colored lights, balloons and dance moves that it wasn't going to be a party. the tap dancing was splendid, as was the rocking, and the rolling. they definitely riled us, in a good way.

i don't think i'm going to post any relevant mp3s this time, but i will post an irrelevant one. i heard this song at pat's the other night, and then on the radio with jess while we were working on our documentary. i'm sure you've probably heard it already, but if not, have a listen.

mp3: flobots - handlebars

jessica and i decided that we're going to do a documentary of our lives. it's very exciting. i'll post a link to the website once it's up and running.

the last time i wrote was before i saw monotonix for the second time. they rocked just as hard at the bug jar as they did at soundlab; it was fantastic. i was up near the guitar player and bass drum (yessss!) and it got a little rough (booo!) but there was this huge guy behind me that tried to keep people from knocking me over. ami half-mooned us. i really want to buy one of their nifty t-shirts, but i haven't had enough cash both times i've seen them. how lame is that! i'm so poor.

link: where you buy those

warped tour sucked. i only went to see staylefish, mc chris, reel big fish and against me! the rest was lame. i should have saved my forty hard-earned dollars for something else.

i'm excited to see tilly & the wall and the ruby suns on friday at mohawk place. i'll probably post pictures and mp3s friday or saturday. you know.

p.s. i also did this today...

...and this.
