Be Cool (2005) - John Travolta
Be Cool (2005) is about a movie producer who wants to get into the music business. This comedy has many well known actors and actresses in it such as: John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Cedric the Entertainer, Andre 3000 and the Rock, plus many more.
In this comedy John is trying to get a young singer a music career, but the only challenge is that she is under an existing contract.
Personally this movie was alright. It had its funny parts and it down parts. I would recommend it for a "different" laugh. The movie is just different. That is one of it's appealing natures. This is probably the best movie The Rock has ever done succesfully. All of his movies suck because he played the wrong parts. This movie gives him the part he was born to play, a queer body gaurd.
Although with John Travolta and Uma Thurman, who also starred together in Pulp Fiction directed by Quentin Tarantino, the movie is barely bareable to watch. One good thing about the movie is that they kind of do spoofs but not really. There is one seen where Uma and John are dancing that reminds, hint reminds, you of Pulp Fiction. Which they are pretty famous for doing their dance scene in Pulp Fiction.
So if you are up for a few laughs and a cheesy story line, definately see Be Cool. But either way you are not missing anything not seeing this movie.
