NOTE: Please read my new blog about the Magic Bullet: The Magic Bullet - Save Your Money

Introduction
For christmas I received The Magic Bullet from my Fiance's Brother. It seems pretty good for minor small jobs and maybe if there were more recipes so you could figure out how much one shot can make it would be better. Here are the pro's that I have found from my usage.

Pros of the Magic Bullet

The Magic Bullet is very small and compact, which saves you counter space. This feature of the Magic Bullet is essential for me living in my own 1 bedroom 640 SQ Ft. apartment. The Magic Bullet comes with 4 dirnking mugs, which fancy that double as another container for mixing food, recipes and drinks in. The mugs doubling as a mixing container is a major plus. Let's say I want to add more Banana to my smoothie, well I simply add as much banana as I want to it then unscrew the saftey ring around the lid and place it onto the Magic Bullet, and voila! A personalized smoothie. All in all the Magic Bullet will seem to come in handy for a while since it will just be my fiance and I.

Cons of The Magic Bullet

Although the features of the Magic Bullet mentioned above are great, there are some downsides to the Magic Bullet. The first downside to the Magic Bullet is the Magic Bullets size. The size makes it hard to do a lot of smoothies for alot of people. Because for each person you have to mix the ingrediants seperatly. Which also makes it interesting when trying old recipes that feed 4 people, you have to cut it in half or even into fourths just to make that meal. Finally the lack of Recipes provided by the initial package of the magic bullet. The Magic Bullet comes with about 15 recipes, you can buy 101 more recipes for $15 more. I went ahead and bought the 101 Recipes and hopefully this will change my views on the Magic Bullet greatly and not just screw me out of my $15.

Ending Notes

The Magic Bullet is very handy for a small crowd and family. I would not recommend this for a family bigger than 3, if so I hope you have a huge kitchen and 2 or 3 bullets. The Magic Bullet will be handy for small jobs that everyone hates such as Chopping onions, as this can be done relativley fast. The Magic Bullet will also save time in that you can chop all your vegtables at once without the mess of a chopping board. If the Magic Bullet is something you think you want I would say try it, but buy it from a store. The Magic Bullet is about $50 cheaper from a store, probably because it just comes with the basics, as in the TV Offer I think The Magic Bullet comes with extra utilities.

My Magic Bullet is great, I love it. This is FANTASTIC for making omlettes, quick pesto sauce, soups and of course smoothies. You can customize your smoothies and drinks for each guest which they seem to really like. You could do a lot worse for $50, think about just one summer of fun parties using this & right there it's worth it.

I don't like the magic bullet it's way to expensive however I had got the rocket blender a few days ago. It is the exact same thing as the magic bullet but it's cheaper. I love it I mad milkshakes and chocolate mouse and I think the rocket blender is a better deal then the magic bullet.

I love the bullet. I'm renting from a friend with a spare bedroom for the next few months, until they sell their house and they have one. I fell in love with it. What can I say? I'm a smoothie drinker, but rarely ever did it before cuz it seemed kind of dumb to get out my big expensive smoothie blender to make one smoothie. The bullet is perfect for that. I haven't used it for much else yet. I'm not the cook around here. But I loved it enough to buy one of my own. I'm excited because mine comes with the blender and juicer attachments. Juicing is another thing I rarely do because of the bulky, hard to clean appliance.

QVC offers a version of this in their cook's essentials lineup, it's about half the price and works much better!

The blender is useful if you have to make larger quantities. Better than having to split everything that doesnt fit in the normal size bullet.

I love the magic bullet - and you can make the recipes for more than one at a time - just get the blender attachment or the juicer attachment. It is wonderful for quick smoothies for morning break.
