but not a boyfriend. Just a friend-boy.

He's been a wee bit odd lately:

If I talk about a certain guy [long story. The "certain guy" is cute, though ^.^] he walks away/talks about people he hates/just changes the subject.

If a disagree with him on something- even a MINOR issue- he'll try and to convince me to see his point of view.

If I say I'm hanging out with someone that he doesn't like, he'll try and stop me from hanging out with them.

He tells me what to do, what to wear, who to talk to...I'm sick of it.
I've been friends with him for three years, and he wasn't like this when I met him. He wasn't like this even last month either! It's driving me insane!!

Just had to vent. =]

SCHOOL
School = hell.
T_T

It's only the second day back to school for me and I'm sick of it already. I'm probably just grouchy because I'm used to sleeping in all the time. Bah. I miss summer. This semester I'm taking History, French, Family Studies and Science. Hm.

COURT
My friend- the one who..was involved in the car-stealing mishap- is going to court sometime this month. I'm worried. o_o I don't know what to say.."So, it's too bad you stole that car!" It'd be awkward. And she's one of my best friends. I just hope she doesn't get in trouble for this...
I finally got- almost- the whole story on this, too: Her friend picked her up in the car, from her house. She apparently DIDN'T know it was stolen. Agh. Chelsea (another friend) told me that my friend in trouble could be facing charges of "Accessory to Theft over $5000". O_O

DANCES
There's a dance on Friday at my school...so the grade nines can (and I quote) "introduce themselves to the other grades". T_T I don't get it but...okay. When we go to dances, my friends and I usually stick in our little group or go talk to some other grade tens, we don't wander around and introduce ourselves to people.
My friend Alex is bringing her new boyfriend (there's a pointless story about that boy I'll explain some other time) and there might be a wee bit of a fight. ^.^ It will be...fun.

Holy crap, I haven't blogged in a while. O_o
I've been pretty nervous about school starting again; I've been running everywhere buying clothes/pencils/notebooks/etc...and I still don't have a backpack.

ALSO: My birthday's coming. Hehe, I'm excited. Unfortunately, the day after my birthday is the day I have to go back to school. Wahoo.

SO, some interesting stuff has happened since I blogged last...for example, one of my friends got arrested! When it happened I was away in Kingston, but Helen called me when I got back. Apparently my friend (my sister reads this, so I don't think I'm going to use names) was at the mall to meet some other friends, and they picked her up in a stolen car. I don't know if she knew it was stolen or not...but she apparently had to spend 2 nights in jail b/c her mum wouldn't come get her or something...gah...and she'll have to go to court. T_T What a way to end the summer.

I was babysitting last night- it's an annoying job, but I need the money- and I didn't get home until about 1:30 in the morning. T_T My parents & the people I was babysitting for are friends, and they had a poker night or something. So I was babysitting 3 kids...one's three, one's five and the other one's seven. When it was time for the three year old to go to bed, he said, "You've gotta catch me first!" The other two took off after him around the house, and by the time they caught him, it was time for them to go to bed.

Just thought I'd let everyone know I'm alive.
I'm going back to bed now.

I got back home last night- I was at my aunt's house for a while, and then we went from there to Ottawa. It's nice to finally be back in my own house...^.^

My aunt's house is in Combermere- on Wednesday, while we were up there, a tornado hit (click the link for the news report). Luckily, they didn't lose anything, but it hit some houses less than a block from where we were from. O.o We were freaking out.

We went out the next day to see the damage- judging by the weather you never would have known a tornado had hit..it was hot, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky- and it was pretty scary. Opeongo Trail Resort is absolutley destroyed. Luckily, no one got hurt- a few people apparently have broken bones, but that's about it. One man my uncle knows was driving home when it hit. The tornado picked his truck up and placed it back down near my aunt & uncle's house- it would have taken him 15 minutes to get there just by driving.
Scaaary.

I'm keeping my guitar.

It was my uncle's- the one who's getting married. He lent it to me for a while, so I could learn how to play, but I get to keep it now.

Hurrah.

Only thing is, I can't play that well. I was thinking of taking lessons but...

My mum went out and got me a few "Learn to Play Guitar!" books, though, so we'll see how that goes. =)

I'm going away for a bit--I'm going to see Lord of the Rings [the play] again on Saturday, and then on Sunday I'm going with my sister & brother to my aunt's house from Monday to Friday.. After that, I'm off to Ottawa for the weekend. Hm. I wonder if I can bring the guitar...

I love going away but..
I miss people.
There are some people I'm really close with but haven't seen in forever. (There are some other people who were supposed to come camping but then got sent to summer school, failed the first two weeks of summer school and then had to go for another two weeks..*coughjonocough*).

My sister wants the computer. So..bye.
