| i am fascinated with stories that defy all logic and reason. i have long been astounded by stories, steeped in love, that defy all logic. such as the romance of marilyn monroe and joe dimagio. they were married many years ago and had a tumultuous marriage. things went wrong. things went well. in the end, it sadly ended in divorce. however, the beautiful thing about their romance was that, when marilyn died, everyday, until joe died, he took a rose to her grave. she went on to have affairs with robert and john f kennedy. this didnt stop joe dimagio from taking her corpse a rose everyday until the day he left this earth. his memory of her and the love he had for her allowed him to live without her physically in his life because of their memory. love defies all logic and reason. | |
